About Us

Northwest Community Management is the largest HOA management company in Oregon. What has made us so successful is our guiding principle of nurturing community. We work closely with the Board of Directors of a community association to create management procedures that will meet and exceed the needs and expectations of each resident. As specialists who deal only with community association management, NWCM works in partnership with the Board and other homeowners to achieve that mission, to protect and enhance the value of their community, customizing each contract program to meet their specific needs and integrate their vision of the future of their neighborhood.

Our History and Experience

Northwest Community Management has been assisting planned communities in Oregon and Washington since 1996. Our company was founded by our president, Marshall Fant, who moved to Oregon from California, where he had built a successful company managing communities. In fact, he is a Certified Community Association Manager with four decades of experience in exclusively managing community associations, always as the owner and managing principal of his firm. His client communities have ranged from under 10 homes to in excess of 1,800 homes.

In 2005, Northwest Community Management became an ESOP company, which means that it is 100% employee owned, as a division of The Management Trust. With a team of dedicated community managers and support staff, Northwest Community Management -- including its Bend division, Central Oregon Community Management -- has quickly grown to a successful company that manages over 30,000 homes in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington, from Eugene to Camas, Bend to North Plains and still growing.

Industry Leadership

Northwest Community Management's President currently serves as the founding Chairman of the Oregon Washington Community Association Managers organization (OWCAM). This organization of professional managers works to assure that the threshold of professionalism for all community management firms meets the highest standards possible.

Through OWCAM and the Community Associations Institute (CAI), plus Northwest Community Management’s own in-house educational programs for our employees and Boards of Directors, we strive to make sure that our clients receive the most professional community management possible, and are informed of changes in the law, reporting or record keeping requirements, and the latest in maintenance and management program changes.

We operate under the strict Standard of Care and Code of Ethics of the association of community managers, as well as the CAI-CEOMC. The depth of experience, education and professionalism which Northwest Community Management Company offers is your assurance that the best interests of the Association and the homeowners will be protected, regardless of the problems which may arise. Our community management and senior management team holds the CCAM, CMCA and/or AMS certifications in association management.

Promoting the Spirit of Community

Our commitment to the spirit of community encompasses more than just those communities we manage. We foster a sense of community in the offices at NWCM, and we consider those who work here not employees, but team members. And because we believe giving back is an important way to promote strong community, we encourage participation in charitable events and organizations and we are proud to support local charities.

  • Our company's mission statement, which we call our Governing Values, is the guideline for this commitment.
